Hi there! I’m Emma, thank you for checking out my blog!
I’m a recently certified yoga instructor with a passion for living a natural and green lifestyle (hence the barefoot part of my name), and as a clinical nutrition major I’ve developed a love for cooking and healthy recipe testing (hence the baker). In my blog I’ll share all my favorite recipes and meals—everything from satisfying vegan dinners to decadent desserts—as well as yoga teachings and general healthy living tips.
I am currently experimenting with a vegan diet (and loving it!), but my recipes can be enjoyed by all types of eaters. I realize many people may also be raw, gluten free, or have other dietary restrictions, so I’ll try to include those types as recipes as often as I can.
I created this blog because one, I like writing, and two, I want to spread the word that eating a healthy, plant-based diet can be delicious and easy to do. My hope is that by reading my blog, people will learn a little something about healthy eating, as well as be inspired to incorporate some of my tips and recipes into their diet!
A few of my favorite things are going out with friends, hiking, traveling, good music, peanut butter, chocolate, mind-trip movies, reading, the beach and the sun. I also love getting to know new people, so please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org!
